Believe it or not, one of the greatest TV shows of our time recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, and what better way to commemorate than with a live Fringe extravaganza at Underbelly’s McEwan Hall - for the full month!
Following a total sell-out run in Edinburgh two years ago, including extra shows, as well as sell-out runs at the London Palladium and The Royal Albert Hall, Clive Anderson once again takes the reins as many of the original cast members reunite in this now legendary live version of the iconic improvisational TV smash hit.
Devised by Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson, Whose Line took over the UK’s prime-time TV slot on Friday nights and went on to repeat its success stateside with America versions on ABC and the CW network.
The stellar line-up from the world of improv this year includes Greg Proops, Mike McShane, Stephen Frost, Richard Vranch, Tony Slattery, Rachel Parris and Marcus Brigstocke, with other special guests to be announced.
No two shows will ever be the same! No points awarded will ever make any sense! Book now to avoid disappointment!

Winter has come! Hot on the heels of the final season of the HBO sensation, Thrones! returns with a completely updated 75 minutes of hilarious musical mayhem.
Fans heartbroken over the demise of their beloved show (and who knows how many beloved characters?), Thrones! will satiate their desire for violence, sweltering sex scenes and silliness in this acclaimed, much-loved musical parody phenomenon.
Following four total sell-out Fringes (extra shows included) alongside sell-out shows in LA, Chicago and Adelaide, the smash-hit must-see show of the Fringe has been updated and is back for yet another blockbusting run.

After years of sell-out runs and critical acclaim anon, this Fringe institution smash-hit wonder has become one of the most celebrated improv shows in the world and returns this August with more brand new, ad-libbed, exhilarating 55-minute musicals, all taken from audience suggestions.
With a full band in action, the company create the opening and closing night of a one night only smash-hit musical – every single night! Witness the plot of Kanye West Side Story be pulled out of thin air. Behold the beauty of theatre as Nicola Sturgeon, Hypnotist comes to life. Each show is a roller-coaster ride of spontaneously choreographed numbers. Unscripted, unguided, unpredictable… and often uncontrollable.
One of the most popular and critically acclaimed international comedy ensembles, with casts in Chicago, LA and New York, and an international touring company, Baby Wants Candy has launched the careers of various top comedic actors and writers in the US, from Craig Cackowski (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development) to Jack McBrayer (Kenneth in 30 Rock), Vanessa Bayer and Aidy Bryant (Saturday Night Live), Thomas Middleditch (HBO’s Silicon Valley) and Peter Gwinn (Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report).
Since their Fringe run back in 2010, Baby Wants Candy have sold out every single show, including extra shows, alongside five-star sell-out runs the Adelaide Fringe and a performance slot on BBC Radio 2’s Drivetime last year.
If you have yet to see for yourself what all this fuss is about, be sure to catch one (or two) of their completely original musicals this summer!

Scottish Comedian of the Year 2015 – Winner

So You Think You’re Funny 2013 – Semi- Finalist
Fresh off the back of supporting Tom Stade’s nationwide tour, multi award-winning newcomer Daisy Earl brings her hotly anticipated debut hour to this year’s Fringe.
Daisy woke up on her 30th Birthday deeply dissatisfied. Why wasn’t she thinner, more successful, and blonde? And why does that cow on Instagram have it all? She decided this year was going to be different; she vowed to get sober, stop crying in public, and stop being so hopelessly single. This is one woman’s attempt to change everything about herself…
In this hilariously honest and vulnerably defiant show, Daisy sets out to confront her many demons. She struggles with addiction, anxiety and being what she likes to call “plus size” – but what her mother likes to call a “fairy elephant”. Through a hilarious and tumultuous journey of past discretions and self-reflection, it turns out that Daisy’s overwhelming need to fit in may just be her biggest problem.
This is a beautifully dark and delightfully uplifting show from an exciting newcomer. She may always be part winner part loser, but the minute Daisy stops trying to conform, incredible things just might happen.
Since starting out on the circuit only a few years ago, Daisy has become one of the fastest rising stars in comedy today and has quickly attracted plaudits and accolades, including winning Best New Comedian at the Scottish Variety Awards in 2015 and then being crowned Scottish Comedian of the Year in the same year, making her the first ever female winner.
Following a sell-out show at the Adelaide Fringe in 2016, Daisy returned to the UK to scoop Best Newcomer at the Chortle Live Comedy Awards, perform in the Scottish Comedian of the Year Winner’s Show in 2016 and enjoyed sell-out double header shows at the Edinburgh Fringe in the last three years. In 2018, she reached the regional final for The Funny Women Awards and has just performed on BBC Scotland’s The Comedy Underground, a new stand-up show showcasing the funniest stand-ups currently performing in Scotland. Daisy is currently storming the comedy circuit and heading to become one of the most sought-after new acts today.
